Mary Czyzyk, 71, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was defined by quiet resilience, unwavering devotion to her family, and a steady determination that carried her through both triumphs and hardships.
Born on September 5, 1954, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Antonious and Anna Boules. She was raised in Camden, where her older brothers, Michael and John, played an important role in her upbringing, offering protection and support during a challenging childhood. Despite early difficulties, Mary never allowed her circumstances to limit her future. Instead, she met life with persistence and grace.
Through hard work and determination, she became the first in her family to earn a college degree, graduating from La Salle University in 1976. That achievement marked a turning point in her life and set the foundation for everything that followed.
In the same year, Mary married and later settled in Tabernacle, New Jersey, in 1979. She embraced motherhood with deep love and commitment, raising her two sons, Stanley and Michael, born in 1980 and 1981. Her family remembers her as a constant source of strength—someone who prioritized stability, education, and opportunity for her children. She remained actively involved in their lives and contributed to her community through PTA involvement and volunteer work.
Professionally, Mary built a career as a bookkeeper and later became a certified tax preparer. She took pride in her work and in helping others better understand and manage their finances, often sharing her knowledge generously with family and friends.
Even after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Mary continued to approach life with courage and determination, adapting to change without losing her sense of purpose.
She will be remembered for her resilience, her devotion to family, and the enduring love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in those she raised, supported, and inspired throughout her life.
