Mrs. Harriett Roberts Beasley, 53, of Willow Drive in Coats, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Coats City Cemetery, with Rev. Chuck Jones officiating.
Born on September 5, 1972, in Harnett County, Harriett was the daughter of the late Harry Brock and Alice Lou Jackson Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Dale Beasley. Harriett was a lifelong resident of Coats and a proud graduate of Triton High School, Class of 1990. She went on to dedicate her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, a profession that reflected her compassionate and selfless nature.
Harriett found her greatest joy in her family. She was a devoted mother who deeply loved her sons and cherished every moment spent with them. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved granddogs—Sadie, Asher, and Dutton—as well as her dog niece and nephew, Chesney and Mikey. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her sons, Tyler Beasley and his fiancée, Melonie Boyd, and Hunter Beasley; her sister, Alice Anne Roberts; and her aunt, Shearon Roberts. Harriett’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will continue to honor her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication.
