Vicente Joseph “Vinny” Brabo, 24, of Unionville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was born November 12, 2001, in Bay City, the beloved son of Donald and Cassandra (Huizar) Brabo. Raised in Unionville, Vinny was active in sports from a young age, playing basketball, baseball, and softball. He graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School with the Class of 2020.
Vinny had a deep appreciation for simple joys and outdoor adventures. He enjoyed shooting pool, competing in snowmobile races, and spending time fishing in roadside ditches—especially with his younger brother. Those moments, filled with laughter and companionship, became some of his most cherished memories. Known for his humor and magnetic personality, Vinny had a natural ability to lift others’ spirits. His ever-present smile and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Above all, he treasured time spent with family and friends.
Vinny is survived by his loving parents, Donald Brabo Jr. and Cassandra Brabo; his siblings, Isabella Sanback and Carson Brabo; and his two nieces, Willow and Elousie. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Elizabeth Huizar, and Donald Brabo Sr., along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Robyn Brabo.
